How A.B.L.E. handles what you write in the Leader's Study

You are reading this because a head leader at your organization asked you to complete the Leader's Study before a season with A.B.L.E. You do not need to be an A.B.L.E. member to answer it, and answering it does not make you one. This notice tells you plainly what happens to your words.

Who reads it. The Success Architect assigned to your organization's season reads what you write. No one else does. Your answers are not shown to your head leader, to the other leaders, to the men in the season, or to anyone at your organization.

What it is used for. Themes from what the leadership team writes as a whole, with no names and nothing attributed to any one of you, may inform the head leader's interview and the Season Brief. Your individual answers are never attributed to you, are never assigned to any man as his work, and are never introduced into any room unless you introduce them yourself.

What we do not do with it. We do not sell it. We do not use it for advertising. We do not compute a score, grade or ranking from it. We do not make any automated decision about you from it.

How long it is kept, and what remains afterward.

“Leadership observations are held by A.B.L.E. and its form provider for ninety days after the season closes. At that point their permanent deletion becomes due and is carried out by A.B.L.E. through its controlled deletion procedure, after which no copy is retained.”

“After the ninety-day deletion is completed, A.B.L.E. retains no Leader’s Study submission or submission content. A.B.L.E. retains only the administrative record of the deletion: the season, the form provider’s submission identifiers, the applicable request and submission dates, the number of submissions deleted, confirmation that the provider’s trash was emptied, and the identity of the person who completed the deletion and when. Any non-attributed theme previously incorporated into the Season Brief may remain only if it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual leader. No individual leadership observation, answer, quotation, respondent name, or other information reasonably capable of identifying a Leader’s Study respondent is retained.”

Where it is held. The Leader's Study is collected through our form provider and held by A.B.L.E. under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. The same Privacy Policy explains your rights, how to reach us, and how to ask a question or raise a concern about your information. It applies to you as a respondent whether or not you are a member.

Your choice. The consent line beneath question 10 asks you to confirm that you understand this before you submit. The box is not checked for you. If you would rather not answer, tell your head leader; nothing about your season depends on it.
